Jeremy Agbonifo has been loaned to Swiss side FC Basel with an option to buy for 4.5 million EUR.
He was considered a flop at RC Lens after being bought for a high price in January by the previous sporting director.
His contract with RC Lens is set to expire on June 30, 2028, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €5.00m.
The 19-year-old winger was born in Sweden, but he is still eligible to represent Nigeria.
