Ademola Lookman has praised his club Atalanta after they cemented third place with a 2-1 home win over AS Roma.
“It’s not easy to do what we did this season,” said Ademola Lookman, who was a major injury doubt for the game due to an inflamed Achilles tendon.
“It’s a great feeling, we knew the importance of the game to qualify for the Champions League. We put in a performance that was deserving of that.
“The team showed we are strong, there are two more games, we want to finish with as many points as possible.”
In third place in Serie A, Atalanta have now been guaranteed UEFA Champions League football come next season.
