Spain and Barcelona star Lamine Yamal the pre-match star, but it was newly-signed Super Eagles forward ‘Mola’ who again stole the show in this epic clash that saw the Catalan giants suffer their biggest defeat this season.
He scored his team’s third goal with a well-taken strike after 33 minutes, before he assisted for the fourth goal for Atletico to go into the break 4-0 in front.
He has now netted two goals and made as many goals in his two appearances in the Copa del Rey.
Sofascore awarded Ademola Lookman 8.0 points ahead of the 7.5 points given Yamal.
The home team did well to manage the second half as Barcelona chased the game as expected.
With a stunning performance, inspired by a stellar Ademola Lookman, Atlético Madrid crush Barcelona 4-0 and take the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals 🔥
