Ademola Lookman has lavished praise on new club Atletico Madrid after they trounced mighty Barcelona 4-0 in the first leg semifinal of the Copa del Rey.

The Super Eagles star scored a goal and made an assist Thursday night against the Catalan giants, just as he had done in the quarterfinal against Real Betis.
He was most impressed by how his team rose to the challenge in front of their fans.
“I am very, very happy, of course nice to score but the performance of the team was top, in both boxes we were clinical,” he told Sporty TV
“It was a great performance and a huge victory.
“We showed togetherness, this was impeccable.
“We got our energy from our fans, they were amazing.
“The stakes were very high. We knew what we had to do and we did.”
‘Mola’ said he has settled in quickly at Atletico because of the warm welcome he has received from both his new teammates and the fans and was delighted to play alongside “top, top players with amazing abilities and talent”.
Barcelona have promised revenge in the second leg at Camp Nou after claiming they were robbed on the night.
Ademola Lookman said Atletico hope to keep the same mindset and focus going into the reverse tie.
