Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has said his team are in with a “fantastic” chance of reaching the final of the UEFA Europa Conference League after Ademola Lookman grabbed the equaliser against AS Roma in a first leg semifinal.
Lookman, on loan from German club RB Leipzig, got home team Leicester City back on equal pegging with Roma in the 67th minute.
Harvey Barnes drove at the Roma defence before he slipped a great ball for the Super Eagles forward to sweep home.
It was Lookman’s third goal from four starts in his last six games for ‘The Foxes’.
He has now scored nine goals in all competitions on loan.
Kelechi Iheanacho also came off the bench, but was denied a goal by a fantastic save by the Roma goalkeeper.
Both teams clash again in Rome Thursday with the overall winners marching on to the final to be played in Albania.
