Front runner for the chairmanship of the FCT FA, Adam Mouktar Mohammed, has expressed confidence the football federation will enjoy a new lease of life under his leadership.
Adam Mohammed has worked his way first as a football agent and now a major stakeholder in the game in Nigeria he said he believes this experience as well as his acumen as a businessman will stand the FCT FA in good stead should he be elected on Thursday.
“I have shown my hand as an agent and now as someone with a major stake and I am confident that with the co-operation of other worthy stakeholders, we can move the FCT FA to the next level,” he vowed.
“I am fully challenged and I believe the congress will make the best choice on Thursday.”
Mohammed, who is FCT FA second vice-chairman, is up against incumbent Musa Talle, who has headed the FA for the past eight years, and Godwin Bamigboye.
The FCT FA elective congress is slated to begin 11am on Thursday at the Capri Suite Hotel in Kuje.
