Latest reports on the on-going Victor Osimhen transfer saga are that AC Milan wish to hijack the Lille striker from local rivals Napoli.
Osimhen, 21, was at Naples this month to talk with Napoli president as well as coach Gennaro Gattuso and a formal announcement on the big-money move has been expected for several days now.
Football Italia said that Milan are making a last-ditch attempt to sign Osimhen.
However, they are not prepared to pay what Lille are asking between 70 and 85 million Euros.
Rather they want to throw in a few players to the bargain.
Inter Milan have also been linked with the striker.
But Radio Punto Nuovo said Osimhen will decide on his next destination in the 48 hours and Napoli remain favourites to finally sign him.
