Former Golden Eaglets captain Sani Abacha has described himself as a fighter and told SCORENigeria he hopes to use top Hungarian club as the springboard to play for Premier League champions Liverpool.
Abacha from the Galadima Football Academy Abuja has signed his first professional contract with Budapest club Honved after he recently clocked 18 years.
“My dream is to play in the Premier League with Liverpool,” Abacha told SCORENigeria
“I love the intensity in the Premier League and it suits my style because I also like to fight.
“I also admire the character of Liverpool, they work and fight together as a team.”
The Kebbi-born youngster has previously been linked with another Premier League club, Manchester City.
Honved are the holders of the Hungary Cup and were league champions in 2017.
“They are always playing in European competitions and I hope to make the most of that chance to make sure my dream comes true,” he told SCORENigeria
“I believe I can do it because I am 100% focused, a good man marker who defends well, has good passes and I am also working hard on scoring goals.”
