Victor Osimhen will be expected to set new goals records with Napoli in Italy when the new Serie A season kicks off this weekend, but in the meantime he has lost one record in Belgium – the fastest ever goal scored.
The Super Eagles striker hit target for Sporting Charleroi against Antwerp in May 2019 after just nine seconds.
But Thibo Baeten is now the holder of the fastest goal in Belgium after he scored for Club Brugge U23s after just seven seconds against Union in the Belgian second division.
Immediately after kick-off he fired home a headed ball into the net for the fastest goal ever in Belgium.
