Paul Onuachu came off the bench to score a goal and cause a penalty from which Cyriel Dessers scored the winning goal for KRC Genk to win at Zulte Waregem, while Moses Ogbu fired four goals in as many matches in Sweden.

5.Rabiu Ibrahim
Once dubbed ‘The New Okocha’, the central midfielder got a goal as Slovak double champions Slovan Bratislava stormed to a 5-0 win on the road in their opening game of the new season. His club will again be the team beat in this new campaign and Rabiu will figure prominently for them. But at the ripe age of 29, he will not make the step up to a bigger league in Europe after all the promise he held for many years.
4.Cyriel Dessers
Despite missing two easy chances, the 25-year-old striker got the goal that gave Genk maximum points at Zulte Waregem. On the strength of his pre-season form and his league debut, Dessers will most certainly be a big threat in front of goal and should he be more clinical, he will get the goals to justify the four million Euros his hometown club paid to snap him up from Dutch side Heracles.

3.Sadiq Umar
The popular transfer target inspired Partizan Belgrade to their second win in the three-week-old league in Serbia with two quick strikes. It was a comfortable 4-0 home win over Javor Ivanjica. The goals were his first of the new season. Last season, he netted 11 goals in the league.
2.Moses Ogbu
The experienced striker scored twice to help Mjallby AIF beat AIK Solna 3-1 in the Swedish top flight. He has now scored four goals in as many matches. He has enjoyed a rich vein of form in the last few weeks so much so he was picked in the Team of the Week in Sweden the previous weekend. His decision to head back to Sweden from England, where he was battling for game time, appears to have been well thought out.

1.Paul Onuachu
The giant striker came off the bench to score an all-important equaliser and then caused the penalty for compatriot Cyriel Dessers to grab the winner for KRC Genk at Zulte Waregem. Onuachu has put behind the drama of testing positive for Coronavirus to get on with the job. He will again be an important member of Genk in the new season in Belgium even if he does not get the credit he deserves.
