PSG beat Barcelona 4-2 in an entertaining contest in Paris to be one of five teams with perfect records after Matchday 3 in the Champions League.
The others are Premier League clubs Aston Villa and Liverpool as well as Real Madrid and Real Betis from La Liga.
However, PSG paid a heavy price for the victory over Barcelona with the long-term injury to star forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who tore his ACL.
Stuttgart, Arsenal and Barcelona are the other teams in the eight-team bracket for the automatic playoffs.
Arsenal forced home team Bayern Munich to a 2-2 draw to drop their first points in the new campaign.
It was a result that also dropped Bayern to 14th in the overall standings with five points from three games.
At the wrong end of the table are one-time champions Porto, who lost 1-0 to visiting PSV to now lose their first three matches in the competition.
Bottom team Slovan and Lille are the other clubs yet to register any points thus far.
The next round of matches are fixed for November 3, 4 with Manchester United expected to revive their Champions League hopes at home against Roma after they were thrashed 4-1 by Como.
Atletico Madrid welcome Bayern, while Barcelona host Aston Villa, who have won their first three games.
