England-based fullback Bright Osayi-Samuel is the latest established international to pull out of the Super Eagles friendly against Russia.
He has joined captain Wilfred Ndidi, who earlier withdrew from the match fixed for Tuesday, October 6.
FC Basel defender Akpe Victory has also been ruled out of the game due to injury.
Both Ndidi and Victory have since been replaced by John Oromewo and Vince Osuji.
Nigeria and Russia played out a 1-1 draw in their first-ever meeting at full international level in June 2025.
