Super Eagles have made changes to the squad for Tuesday’s friendly against Russia following the withdrawal of captain Wilfred Ndidi and injury to defender Akpe Victory.
France-based midfielder John Otomewo and Vince Osuji have been drafted to the Super Eagles squad for the friendly.
Both have yet to be capped by Nigeria at full international level and will be among the players coach Eri Chelle will want to have a closer look ahead of U23 AFCON qualifiers next month.
The Eagles are already in Russia for the game to be played at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium.
In June 2025, both teams played aout a 1-1 draw.
