Elfsborg have loaned out midfielder Victor Okeke to lower division Swedish club IK Brage.
Elfsborg announced on their official website that Okeke, 22, from Tripple 44 is being loaned out for the rest of the season.
“This feels like a good opportunity for me to get more regular playing time to continue developing. I wish the team the best of luck for the rest of the season,” Okeke told the website.
Elfsborg manager Bjorn Hamberg also commented.
“We have found a solution together with Victor where he goes on loan to a club that can offer regular playing time to continue his development and we wish him the best of luck,” he said.
Brage confirmed the transfer.
Brage also confirms the transfer on its official website.
“Victor is a central midfielder, but can also play in other positions, which suits us well in the situation,” said the sports director.
“He is eager to be involved and contribute now during the second half of the season and we look forward to having him with us during this period.”
