Raphael Onyedika has severally turned down a new contract offered by Belgian champions Club Brugge.
Club Brugge made several attempts in recent weeks to extend Onyedika’s expiring contract.
However, those attempts were unsuccessful, reported Het Nieuwsblad.
Because Onyedika does not want to extend his contract with Club Brugge, the club are now open to his departure. In this way, they can still receive a transfer fee for the midfielder.
Eintracht Frankfurt’s earlier bid was rejected by Club Brugge, who are reportedly demanding a transfer fee of at least 10 million euros for Onyedika.
The Nigerian was also set to leave the national champions last season.
Another German club, Wolfsburg, made a bid of 15 million euros for the midfielder at the time, but that proposal was also rejected by Club Brugge.
