Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho agreed to join Turkish second division club Bursaspor after Celtic failed to make him their highest earner.
Iheanacho has signed a three-year deal worth £47,000 per week with Bursaspor.
The agreement with the Turkish second division club was finalised less than 48 hours after the player’s agent resumed negotiations to demand a contract with those terms.
According to Record Sport, Celtic were unwilling to meet Iheanacho’s demand for a package of £50,000 per week, which was significantly more than the top earners at the club were paid.
The Turkish second-tier club, who won promotion last season, then offered a significant financial package to sign the 29-year-old on a three-year deal.
