Swedish club AIK have said they value exciting youngster Zadok Yohanna highly amid speculations his transfer this summer could break records.
SCORENigeria gathered that Zadok, 18, cost AIK 200,000 euros when he signed his first professional contract last year and he could now be sold for huge fee on account of the overwhelming interest he has generated across some of the top leagues in Europe.
TV4 expert John Guidetti asked whether a record sum will be required for AIK to release Zadok.
“The sum has to be reasonable because he is a very, very talented player, a good player,” replied AIK recruitment head Miika Takkula.
“Good one-on-one, and good in the head. Fantastic character, fantastic mentally. I won’t talk about transfer records but we value him highly.”
If there is a price tag? Takkula replied: “Yes, roughly.”
Takkula also refused to say whether AIK have received a concrete offer for the player.
“There’s a lot of interest in the player and if he continues to develop and perform in the same way, we’ll get offers that we have to consider,” he added.
