Former Golden Eaglets striker Umar Abubakar has ended the season in style after he came off the bench to score the match winner for Portuguese club Famalicao and be named Man of the Match.
The 20-year-old striker came off the bench in the 66th minute to score the only goal of the match in the 83rd minute against Alverca.
It was his third goal of the Liga campaign during which he made 22 appearances.
He also netted thrice and made three assists for the U23s, all in his first season in Portugal after Belgian club Gent did not give him a contract with the first team.
Famalicao ended Liga Portugal in a commendable fifth place with 56 points from 34 matches, just outside the bracket for European football next season.
