Leading scorer in the NPFL this season Joseph Arumala of Ikorodu City will lead six other players from the domestic league to the Unity Cup, which the Super Eagles will defend in London later this month.
SCORENigeria gathered that former Golden Eaglets star Arumala, who has netted 13 goals so far this term, headlines the NPFL flag bearers for the invitational tournament, which begins on May 26 with an opening game against Zimbabwe.
Arumala will be one of three players from Ikorodu City, while Enugu Rangers have two players and both Rivers United and Shooting Stars have a player each.
A top official informed SCORENigeria that the players are already in Abuja to apply for entry visas to the UK.
