English Championship club Blackburn Rovers will now be open to the transfer to Serie A side Genoa of defender Ryan Alebiosu.
Rovers blocked the transfer in January of Alebiosu after Genoa offered five million euros as they were fighting to stay up in the Championship.
Tuttomercato reported that Alebiosu of is back on Genoa’s radar for a potential transfer.
He is reportedly on the list of Genoa’s Chief of Football Diego Lopez as a potential target for wide positions.
An offer this summer that is similar to the one Genoa made for the player in January could be sufficient for him to leave Blackburn.
A transfer would generate significant funds, which would subsequently be reinvested into Michael O’Neill’s squad.
