When Degerfors were beating AIK this past week, at least one scout from the Premier League was in attendance, but new sensation Zadok Yohanna said he was not aware of such.
“No, I don’t know. I didn’t know there were scouts here. I’m just focusing on my team. My focus is completely on AIK,” Zadok told Expressen
Degerfors won the game 2-1. Zadok admitted he has big dreams.
“Of course I have a dream. But now I am one hundred percent focused on AIK,” he insisted.
TV4 reported in its broadcast that several Premier League clubs were present.
“It’s nothing exceptional or because of one player. We are all part of an attractive league. AIK is a team that wants to give young players a chance. They do their part by showing their talent every time they get the chance. This is professional football, it’s part of the process,” AIK coach Jose Riveiro told Expressen.
The 18-year-old Zadok has taken Sweden by storm this season to spark interest from across Europe.
Sky Sports Germany recently reported that Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are following the exciting winger.
This was after reports that linked him to Chelsea, Ajax and Club Brugge.
