Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali was the official Man of the Match in a 2025 AFCON third-place match against Egypt tonight in Casablanca, Morocco.
He saved two spot kicks in the penalty shootout for Nigeria to finish third in the tournament in Morocco by beating Egypt 4-2 after it was goalless in regulation time.
He said he is delighted with the third place after the Super Eagles failed to reach the AFCON final.
“I am happy, we will take the third place medal,” he said.
