Jordan Kadiri, who scored thrice in a Swedish Cup tie, will be sidelined for at least three weeks after he twisted his ankle from a bad fall.
The Ostersunds FK striker suffered the injury when he headed home his team’s second goal in the 4-0 win against GAIS.
However, he soldiered on to complete his hat-trick before he called to the bench to replace him.
The injury has effectively ruled him out of this week’s cup tie against Hacken.
Kadiri from Sunsel FC also netted four goals in five pre-season games.
Last season, he scored three goals in 10 league appearances.
