Turkish champions Galatasaray have penciled down another striker who will play while Victor Osimhen is away with the Super Eagles at the AFCON in Morocco this month.
Osimhen’s direct rival Mauro Icardi is off form and as such Galatasaray urgent need another striker to carry them in the absence of the Super Eagles star.
According to the Turkish newspaper Sabah, top transfer target for the Istanbul giants is Santiago Gimenez of AC Milan with Elye Wahi from Eintracht Frankfurt an option.
Wahi, 22, has failed to live up to expectations in Germany, scoring only a goal and three assists in 14 appearances thus far.
He is reported to be open to a move to Galatasaray next month.
