Victor Osimhen has assured that the suspected hamstring injury he suffered during a 2026 World Cup Playoffs final against DR Congo is not serious.
Osimhen did not come out for the second half of the Playoffs clash in Rabat, Morocco, Sunday night mainly as a precaution when he felt some pain in his thigh.
“My condition is not serious,” the striker told A Spor on arrival in Turkey.
He will have an MRI scan to determine how serious the injury is, while various reports out of Turkey said Galatasaray will rest him for this weekend’s Super Lig home game against Genclerbirligi.
