After losing their opening game to Norway, the Flying Eagles will hope to get their U20 World Cup campaign back on track with a victory over Saudi Arabia tonight.
Kick-off time in Talca will be 12 midnight in Nigeria.
Like the young Nigerians, Saudi Arabia also lost their opening group game 1-0 to Colombia, which means both teams will be going for broke when they come face-to-face.
“We will go for all three points against Saudi Arabia,” vowed coach Aliyu Zubairu, who may tinker with strike force of the starting XI against Norway.
Nigeria dominated the possession against Norway, but they failed to make it count in front of goal.
The Flying Eagles must also be concerned that three key players – midfielders Israel Ayuma and Daniel Daga as well as striker Charles Agada – risk suspension for Sunday’s final group showdown against Colombia after they were all booked against Norway.
