Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has hailed Kelechi Iheanacho as a great signing by the Scottish champions.
Iheanacho, 28, has signed as a free agent after his contract with Spanish La Liga club Sevilla was terminated by mutual consent.
The Super Eagles star has signed a year’s deal with Celtic having the option for an additional year.
Rodgers was excited by his arrival.
“I know Kelechi so well and what he can bring to the team,” the Celtic boss remarked.
“He is such a talented player, with great ability, athleticism and work rate.
“I am sure he will love being at Celtic and I believe our fans will love what he brings.
“He has great experience and he is right in his peak years so he can be a great signing for us.
“I am sure he will make a great contribution to the team.”
