SCORENigeria can exclusively reveal that Turkish Super Lig club Antalyaspor have rejected a million dollar bid by French Ligue 1 club AS Monaco for young striker Paul Omo Mukairu.
The 20-year-old Omo Mukairu has signed a five-year contract with Antalyaspor after coming through the U19s last season.
Antalyaspor have maintained he is not for sale with close observers suggesting the Monaco offer is many miles below their own valuation of the player.
Monaco had hoped to sign the striker and then loan him out to affiliate Belgian club Cercle Brugge.
Paul Omo Mukairu has played a total of 21 matches and scored four goals in his debut season in the Turkish Super Lig.
