Today, the Flying Eagles did well to fight back and salvage a 1-1 draw with hosts Ghana in the opening game of the 3rd WAFU B Tournament in Accra.
Against the run of play, Ghana took the lead in the 25th minute, before the Nigeria U20s deservedly restored parity on 84 minutes, when Muhammed Abdullahi headed home off a corner.
Ghana dominated the first half, while the second half belonged to the Flying Eagles.
Flying Eagles midfielder Divine Oliseh was outstanding.
