Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel has said he shares the Premier League ambition of new club Birmingham City.
The 27-year-old defender has signed a three-year contract with Birmingham City as a free agent after the expiry of his contract with Turkish giants Fenerbache.
The ambitious English club beat Besiktas and Fulham to the signature of the experienced defender.
“They did well last season getting promoted but the ambition is not just to compete – it’s to get straight to the Premier League,” Osayi-Samuel declared.
“Those are my ambitions too, and Birmingham City are giving me a platform to do that.”
Birmingham City, who have been under American owners since 2023, last featured in the Premier League in 2011.
Last season, they finished as champions of League One to be promoted to the English Championship.
