The Super Falcons will be champions of Africa again because of the talent of the players and not the coaching, according to former coach Randy Waldrum.
The Super Falcons are gunning for a 10th WAFCON in Morocco and will be led by interim coach Justine Madugu.
Texan Waldrum led Nigeria to finish fourth at the previous WAFCON also staged in Morocco.
He has now seriously questioned the quality of the coaching the team will enjoy at Morocco 2024.
“The players from the World Cup and the Olympics can get the job done,” Waldrum said in an interview.
“The players’ talent and not the coaching at this level can help them regain the championship.
“Hosts Morocco, Cote d’Ivoire, will be well organised.”
