Top Italian sports newspaper Corriere dello Sport has reported the day Victor Osimhen will make known his long-awaited decision on where he will play in the new season.
At midnight yesterday, Osimhen officially returned to Napoli from a 10-month loan at Turkish champions Galatasaray.
Corriere dello Sport said Osimhen, who is now being represented by a lawyer and one of his brothers, will finally decide on his next club on July 10.
This will be five clear days before he would be expected to report for pre-season training with Napoli.
Galatasaray and top Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal remain the most concrete options for the 26-year-old striker, who has insisted he will not take a pay cut to transfer.
Galatasaray are waiting on him to give them the green light so that they could finalise a transfer after they claim to have negotiated a 65 Million Euros transfer fee with Napoli to be paid over four years.
After several rejections, Al Hilal have been reported to have now offered to pay him a staggering 40 Million Euros a year and they are ready to meet his 75 Million Euros release clause.
The Riyadh club are also only waiting for his nod to complete this transfer.
Interests in the Premier League and Serie A have also been mentioned, but no bid has yet been tabled.
