Central defender Patrick Nwadike has quit Swedish club IK Siruis to join Spartak Trnava in Slovakia.
The 26-year-old Nwadike, who was born in Sweden, has signed a two-year contract for Spartak, who finished third in the Slovak league this past season.
“I have a very good feeling. The arena is beautiful, the people I have met are very nice and I am happy to be here,” Nwadike told the Spartak’s website.
“I was excited by what he (sports director and former Liverpool star Martin Skrtel) told me. It made me feel like I wanted to be a part of it.”
