Reports have suggested that Victor Osimhen rejected Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal because he still believes he could still play at the highest level in Europe.
However, Sky Sports Top Transfer Expert Alfredo Pedulla has reported that the Super Eagles striker refused the life-changing deal because he did not want to feature for them in the on-going FIFA Club World Cup in the USA.
“Osimhen said no to Al Hilal because he didn’t want to play at the FIFA Club World Cup,” Pedulla told Sportitalia
“The offer was 35 Million Euros (a year), but Simone Inzaghi wanted him immediately.
“At the end of the competition, they will return for him.
“He does not intend to stay at Galatasaray, even though he respects the club.
“There is talk of interests from Premier League clubs, but I am not sure. Juventus are also working behind the scenes.”
