The NPFL Player of the final Week 38 is Barnabas Daniel of El Kanemi Warriors.
His strike after half an hour of action at home against Sunshine Stars saved El Kanemi from relegation from the NPFL on the final day of the season.
The former Plateau United striker scored his second goal of the season and it proved to be what would save the entire campaign for his club.
Had El Kanemi not won, they and not Heartland would have been demoted to the second-tier NNL.
The Maiduguri club, who won the 2024 Federation Cup, can now spend a further year in the top league after their return the previous season.
