“Worst penalty taker” for Atalanta Ademola Lookman has left no one in doubt including his coach that he can rise above all the noises from the Champions League exit to Club Brugge with two goals and a Man-of-the-Match award at Empoli as his Italian club improved their chances of scooping the Scudetto.
5.Muhamed Tijani
Struggling Plymouth desperately need all the points they can muster as they battle to stay up in the English Championship this season and so they will accept a point from a draw with Cardiff City. Former Flying Eagles striker Muhamed Tijani came off the bench to score the equaliser in this relegation six-pointer against Cardiff City. It was his first Championship goal and Plymouth are now three points from safety.
4.Tom Dele-Bashiru
The older brother of Super Eagles star Fisayo inspired Watford to a vital 2-0 derby win over rock bottom Luton Town by opening the scoring with a well-taken penalty after just 11 minutes. He has now scored four goals and his career is back on track after several long-term injury layoffs. Watford are ninth in the standings with 48 points from 34 matches, just three points off the Premier League promotion playoffs bracket.
3.Gift Orban
Hoffenheim will again have to thank new signing Gift Orban for a home draw with Stuttgart courtesy of his second-half equaliser. It was his fourth Bundesliga goal since his arrival from Lyon in January. He has certainly taken to the German top flight like duck to water and Hoffenheim have now climbed to 14th position and seven points clear of relegation troubles.
2.Moses Simon
The Super Eagles flying winger grabbed one of the goals in an important 3-1 home win over RC Lens to move them further away from the relegation zone. He scored from the penalty spot on the hour to make it 2-0 for the home team. He has now scored six goals to double what he netted last season.

What a way to go past the keeper, take Atalanta 3-0 up, and overtake Simy Nwankwo to become 2nd all-time highest scoring Nigerian in #SerieA 🇳🇬🆙#EmpoliAtalanta pic.twitter.com/028hyGqLsT
1.Ademola Lookman
The CAF Player of the Year showed class and character to come through with a brace and his seventh Man of the Match award as Atalanta trounced home team Empoli 5-0 in continuation of the Italian Serie A. ‘Mola’ received total support after those disparaging comments from the Atalanta coach in the wake of the team’s ouster from the UEFA Champions League earlier in the week. He has now scored 12 goals in Serie A. Again, he has turned “Pain” into “Power”. Atalanta remain in third place in the standings and are very much in contention for the Scudetto as they are only three points behind leaders Inter Milan after 26 rounds of matches.
