Ademola Lookman has promised an even better 2025 after he was named Man of the match in Atalanta 1-1 draw at Lazio.
The Super Eagles forward conjured the assist for Atalanta to draw level with Lazio with just minutes left on the clock.
“The club had a fantastic 2024, so we want to continue to doing the same thing and the New Year will be better,” vowed Ademola Lookman, who scooped his eventh Man of the Match Award of the season.
“It was a tough match, the first half was very difficult for us, but we fought and on another day might have won the game.
“We drew, but e didn’t lose, so it’s positive.”
Atalanta opening test of 2025 will be the Supercoppa vs Inter Milan, who have now toppled them at the top of the Serie A table.
The match will be played on January 2 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
In September, Atalanta fell 4-0 to Inter.
“It is another big game, the Supercoppa is important for us,” Ademola Lookman said.
“Inter are a strong team, we know that we have to fight and show our quality.”
