Injured Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika will not play Club Brugge final game of 2024 despite the earlier optimism of his coach.
Club Brugge coach Nicky Hayen was hopeful Onyedika will shake off a minor injury to play today’s Belgian league home game vs Westerlo.
However, Onyedika has been left out of the matchday squad and instead Hayen has drafted in a couple of players from the second team.
Onyedika also missed his team’s previous game at Union St.Gilloise.
Club Brugge are second on the table with 38 points from 19 matches, three points behind leaders Genk.
