Odion Ighalo’s agent Atta Aneke has exclusively told SCORENigeria his client does not have any plans of quitting China any time to pour cold water on rumours the striker could soon be heading back to the Premier League.
“Ighalo is happy in China and when you also put several other things into consideration there is not point for him to head back to Europe or even the Premier League,” Aneke informed SCORENigeria
One of the rumours was that talks have reached advanced stage for the striker to return to troubled Premier League side Watford, who are rock bottom of the table.
Ighalo still has two years left on the contract he signed with top Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shensua after he joined them this year from relegated Changchun Yatai.
The 30-year-old striker scored 10 goals in 17 league appearances this past season.
