A petition to President Bola Tinubu on the corruption and abuse of office at the NFF alleged that 12 Billion Naira meant to clear the outstanding bonuses and allowances of the Super Eagles and various other national teams have already been accounted for even without the players receiving a kobo.
The petition by Sports Stakeholders Forum in Nigeria said the retirement of the 12 Billion naira is already before the Public Accounts Committee of the Federal House of Representatives.
The anti-graft agency EFCC is now investigating these weighty allegations.
Independent investigations have shown that players and officials of the Super Eagles, Flying Eagles, Golden Eaglets, Falconets have yet to be paid these outstanding monies.
This is despite the fact that the NFF have received a total of 17 Billion Naira for this purpose as approved by President Tinubu.
Then Sports Minister John Enoh disclosed that 12 Billion Naira was first paid to the NFF and an additional Five Billion Naira was subsequently remitted to make up for the differences caused by foreign exchange fluctuations.

Corruption everywhere, it’s a big shame to Corrupt Nigerian leaders in every high positions. President Tinubu should fight Corruption during his tenure. It’s like who dare to challenge me.
