The NPFL Player of Week 9 is Nasarawa United captain Anas Yusuf.
Anas Yusuf scored his ninth goal of the NPFL season for Nasarawa United to beat star-studded Kano Pillars 1-0.
The home win has pushed ‘The Solid Miners’ to eighth place on the table with 12 points from 12 matches.
The Nasarawa United skipper celebrated his call-up to the CHAN Eagles training camp in Abuja with his strike after 41 minutes versus visiting Kano Pillars.
The consistency of the all-action winger in front of goals is now expected to serve the CHAN Eagles, when they battle arch-rivals Ghana for a place at the 2025 CHAN to be hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania in February.
