Victor Boniface and Bayer Leverkusen scooped the German Super Cup over the weekend as they defeated VFB Stuttgart 4-3 on penalties, but the Super Eagles striker will now have to face the music.
After the final whistle, Boniface was said to have stretched out his “left middle finger” to the Stuttgart players, which has now been described as “blatantly anti-sporting conduct in the form of unsportsmanlike conduct”
The control committee of the German Football Association(DFB) has now started an investigation and written to the striker( Victor Boniface) , to provide a statement, after which the further course of proceedings will be decided.
