Chelsea have revived their interest to sign Victor Osimhen possibly as part of a swap deal with Romelu Lukaku going in the opposite direction to Napoli.
According to Top Transfer Expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the London club, in fact, are shopping for a centre-forward, and the technical staff has given the green light to push for Osimhen.
The Super Eagles striker would be open to a transfer to Chelsea, but not on loan as had been hypothesized by the English press, but permanently, and therefore there would be negotiations on the salary, which is much higher than the salary caps that Chelsea currently have in the squad.
This transfer could be a permanent one or loan with obligation to buy.
New contacts between Napoli and Chelsea are expected Thursday.
