Super Eagles star Moses Simon is facing a fresh injury problems going into the new season in France.
Moses Simon fractured his fibula in an international friendly against Mali in Morocco in March.
This kept him out for the reminder of the Ligue 1 season and he has only returned to pre-season training with his club FC Nantes.
He has scored twice in pre-season matches, but Nantes coach Antoine Kombouare said the player is now nursing an ankle problem.
“I only regret that Moses Simon is struggling with his ankle,” revealed the coach after a 2-1 win over Laval in a pre-season test game.
