Belgian champions Club Brugge have left out Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika for tomorrow’s league game against Standard.
Onyedika started the opening league game against KV Mechelen, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
Club Brugge coach Nicky Hayen has admitted that “there’s a real chance” Onyedika will make a transfer.
An unnamed Premier League club are most likely to be the next destination of the 23-year-old defensive midfielder, who cost Club Brugge Nine Million Euros two seasons ago.
There is also interest from Saudi Arabia.
Hayen said this transfer could even have been possible towards the end of last season.
However, the coach has named Antonio Nusa, whose father is Nigerian, on his matchday squad even though he has also been linked with a transfer outside Belgium.
