Taiwo Awoniyi has expressed full confidence his club Nottingham Forest will against stay up in the Premier League.
Forest are only three points outside the relegation zone with a final game at already relegated Burnley Sunday.
Luton Town will need a big home win over Fulham this coming weekend to have any chance of survival at the expense of Forest.
Despite seeing just four minutes of game time in his last two appearances, Awoniyi is upbeat about his side’s chances of top-flight football next season.
“I think for us, we’ll be there. We’ll be in the Premier League next season, but the most important thing is to win the next game,” the 27-year old said after the Chelsea defeat at the weekend.
The ex-Liverpool striker also cleared any doubts on his future with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side next season
“That’s a tough one, but I’m still under contract with Nottingham Forest and I’m here. So for now, I’m a Nottingham Forest player,” he said.
