Fresh from an impressive two-match tour of Morocco, the Nigeria U15s, better known as the Future Eagles, will from next week take on their counterparts from England, hosts Spain and Belgium in an invitational tournament.
A top team official informed SCORENigeria that the tournament under the auspices of La Liga will kick off April 8 in Spain.
He said the Future Eagles, who are handled by coach Patrick Bassey, are expected to extend their fine form in Spain after they impressed in Morocco last month.
“The team ought to have won both games against Morocco but for biased officiating by the local referees,” he said.
“We have a very good team and they should again show their quality against England and Spain at this La Liga tournament.”
