Kelechi Iheanacho, who has been a major injury doubt for the AFCON, will join the Super Eagles training camp in Dubai today to end speculations about his availability for the tournament.
The striker was not listed by Leicester City for Monday’s home win over Huddersfield Town, but so also all the AFCON-bound players in the English Championship team.
However, he also missed the team’s previous game away at Cardiff City with manager Enzo Maresca reporting the striker was nursing a muscular injury, which needed to be fully assessed.
