Turkish giants Fenerbache were interested in signing Wilfred Ndidi only to pull out at the last moment.
Fotomac said the Istanbul giants gave up on their pursuit after Ndidi put up an unconvincing display in an English Championship clash against Hull City.
Leicester City lost the home game 1-0 and Ndidi had to be replaced after 53 minutes because he was struggling to impress.
Fenerbache coach Ismail Kartal watched the game, was not impressed by the midfielder and so pulled the plug on any transfer.
