Victor Osimhen netted his 100th goal at club level tonight to make sure Napoli won their second straight game in the new Serie A season, same as AC Milan and Verona.
Osimhen scored from the penalty spot after 16 minutes for Napoli to go on to beat visiting Sassuolo 2-0.
It was his third goal of the new season after he bagged a brace on the opening day at promoted Frosinone.
Before tonight’s game, Osimhen received the Paolo Rossi Award for finishing top scorer in Serie A last season with 26 goals.
He is the first African to achieve such a feat.
